Why it matters

Four reasons serious flyers
choose the Aero 3.

7-inch frame, long-range dual-band radio, 4K/120fps 10-bit — built for aerial creators and serious enthusiasts.

Click the battery in and fly.

Every other FPV drone ships with a bare LiPo battery velcro-strapped to the spine. The MemAero Aero 3 uses a sealed, slide-in smart battery — the same principle as the DJI Avata. No fire risk from exposed cells, consistent balance every flight, and one spare battery works across both MemAero models.

Who it’s for

Three kinds of buyer.

MemAero drones are not the right product for someone who wants something that flies for five minutes and lives in a drawer. Both models require a UK CAA Flyer ID and Operator ID — the registration threshold is 100g, which applies to both the Aero 2 (~450g) and Aero 3 (~720g). If you want zero setup and zero responsibility, these are not the drones for you.
1
First-time flyer who means it
You have wanted a real drone — not a toy — for a while. You want 4K video, proper flight modes, and something you can actually learn on. Both models work here; start with the Aero 2.
2
Content creator or filmmaker
You need footage, not just flight. The Aero 3 is the camera platform: 4K/120fps 10-bit, bigger frame, dual-band radio. The Aero 2 shoots 4K/60 and works well for shorter content.
3
FPV pilot upgrading from toy-grade
You know what you are doing and you are done with locked ecosystems and cheap parts. ArduPilot, ELRS, DJI O4 — this is the open platform you wanted.

The differentiator

Engineered,
not strapped together.

Every other FPV drone ships with a bare LiPo battery velcro-strapped to the spine. The MemAero battery is commercially engineered, sealed, and slides into a purpose-built bay at the rear of the airframe — the same principle used by the DJI Avata.

No exposed-cell fire risk. The sealed enclosure contains any thermal event from a crash-damaged cell.
Consistent balance point every flight — no re-positioning the pack across sessions.
One battery, two drones. The same pack works in the Aero 2 and Aero 3.
Finished product aesthetic — it looks engineered because it was.
