UK-made drone.
Not just designed here.

MemAero is a British drone manufacturer based in Lancaster, Lancashire. The drones are designed here. The frames are 3D-printed here. The electronics are sourced from China — we'd be lying if we said otherwise: every drone maker on earth sources from China — but assembly, testing, calibration, and shipping all happen from our own workshop. That is what makes it a UK-made drone, not just a drone sold from the UK.

We started MemAero because the drone market in 2026 is a duopoly. DJI dominates with brilliant but locked-down products. The Chinese clone brands are catching up but offer no repair path, no warranty, no UK support. There is no other British drone manufacturer that competes on capability at this level.

We are not pretending to compete on price. DJI's scale advantage is real. What we offer instead:

UK-made drone frames.

The parts we can make ourselves, we make ourselves. Every frame and every structural part comes out of our Lancaster workshop — 3D-printed, not sourced from a factory we cannot reach. We source where it makes sense, and assemble where it matters.

Repairable for life.

Crash an arm, we print a replacement and post it. Send us a wrecked drone, we rebuild it. Try doing that with a DJI. Every structural part is available individually — we do not sell you a disposable product.

ArduPilot open-source firmware — a genuinely programmable drone.

Both MemAero drones run ArduPilot, the leading open-source drone flight stack — maintained by a large active community for over a decade. Your drone works with free apps you do not have to register for. No DJI account, no cloud activation, no firmware lockout when geopolitics shifts. Real waypoint missions, real geofencing, real autonomous flight. A programmable drone you actually own.

One person to call.

It is me. When you email support, I read it. During your first six months of ownership, reply to any email and I will respond — not a ticket system, not a support bot.
